For the newly designed regulars’ area at Edlingers Tempel in Vienna, checkpointmedia developed the concept and implementation of a spatial staging that extends the passion of Thomas and Sabine Edlinger and Wolfgang Hetzel beyond the plate.
Color schemes and ornamental elements structure the space and guide the eye from the open kitchen across the bar to the dining table. Integrated lighting within decorative wall panels places visual emphasis on the plate, while subtle grazing light highlights the vaulted ceiling, adding a sense of lightness to the room.
Illuminated podiums in wall niches showcase selected regional partners and winemakers – a tribute to local production culture and the network behind Edlinger´s cuisine.
The space becomes a stage for the dialogue between culinary art, hospitality, and design – transforming the idea of “enjoyment” into a multi-sensory experience.
