Young, creative and innovative – junior economy in Lower Austria

Whether through innovative wine labels for the Life Ball, elaborate precision watches, or extravagant hairstyle design, many companies are successful thanks to the creative ideas and the well-founded work of young professionals. The basis for such qualified young talent is a modern, demanding and versatile training successfully offered in Lower Austria. In Austria’s largest state, the number of girls and boys who start an apprenticeship has recently risen again – in January 2018 by 201 apprentices compared to the previous year. An „Österreich Bild am Sonntag“ from the ORF Landesstudio Niederösterreich documents the focus of the training and introduces some vocational schools, companies and graduates.

For this documentary we visited a few stations of my career. These include the MVC Motors automotive workshop, where I completed my apprenticeship, the design studies at the NDU, Ronald Jacklitsch and the Ballspeaker Bass in his mo ° sound store, as well as my current work in the workshop of Bernhard Ranner.
