Prior to my current studies I worked as a car mechatronic for around seven years, where I specialized in the field of system diagnostics. My training course was divided into a craft area, with metalworking and engine technology, and a diagnostic area, with electrical engineering and module electronics. However, I wanted to develop further in other areas and therefore decided to study „Manual and Material Culture“ at the New Design University in St.Pölten. This program focused not only on the learning of a craft, especially on a cultural-scientific understanding of the material culture, but also on the understanding of connections between objects and the human being.

After graduation, I started my own business as a designer and freelance artist, a profession that I practice concurrently with my studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. At the master’s program „Art and Science“, I can merge my passion for designing with my urge to research, in order to combine current scientific achievements with creative processes.
